Certification marks are distinctive signs able to be graphically represented, with an aim to be used for products in order to certify one or more shared characteristics or specific components with a link to the origin of the product, by people properly authorized, managed, and certified by the titleholder of the mark.

The titleholder of the mark is not the producer, but the certifying body.

The duration of the mark is 10 years and it is renewable.
